As gas price rises - our wallets get thinner.

Transmission

For many daily drivers social transportation is not an option; we work way too far from home, there is no social transportation in our area, we have to drive our kids to school and I am sure you could give me thousand of other reasons for driving a car.

The electric car was an option and a big hope for a microscopic while. As most of you already know the electric car is no longer on the market. There are many distinct theories on the electric car being "killed" - and this field is hard to discuss about as it always ends up in an angry political-related fight.

However, there is another way of recovery up your gas and not overpaying for it.
Here are some tips that will be very helpful on recovery gas and expanding the fuel economy;

o Accelerate gently; sudden acceleration from a stop can use up to four times more fuel.

o Keep your length when driving in city traffic. Every time you use the brakes also means you have to accelerate again.

o Shift the transmission into a higher gear as soon as possible. Staying in low gear too long can use up to 30% more fuel. If your car has an self-operating transmission, you can allow the transmission to shift earlier by slightly decreasing the pressure on the accelerator pedal for a few seconds.

o Keep your speed down. Decreasing your speed from 110 km/h to 90 km/h will give you a 10% growth in fuel economy. Your chances of getting a speeding mark are also improved!

o And last but not least - you could change your car to run on Water! Yes, H2O. It is much easier than it sounds and this proven formula could growth your fuel economy up to 207%. Converting your car to burn water does not harm your engine; in fact it helps your motor to stay cleaner and much more fuel efficient.
